Gelareh completed her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Simon Fraser University and recently earned her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of British Columbia. In 2023, after attending the SkunkWorks: Hacking Aging seminar series, she became more aware of the challenges older adults face, such as social isolation, mobility issues, and overall wellbeing. Although many resources exist to address these issues, awareness and accessibility remain limited.
