Prince George Council of Seniors, or PGCOS, is a registered charity that operates several programs, services and events to enhance the lives of Seniors in the Prince George area. You will find all the information needed for those programs, services and events at the Seniors Resource Centre.

• Limited Handyman services.

• Friendly visits.

Community Connector

• Health benefit applications such as: Canada Dental Care Plan, MSP enrollment.

• Low-cost Counselling referrals.

• Transportation applications (HandyDart, Senior Bus passes, medical transportation).

• Farmer’s Market Coupon program.

• Exercise and Leisure Program referrals.

• Partnering with Seniors First BC to provide Advanced Planning Clinics.

Friends & Family Caregiver Support Program

• One-on-One Support
  Chat with someone who listens and understands — by phone, video, or in person.

• Respite & Friendly Visits
  Take a break! We offer short, informal visits to give you time to relax and recharge.

• Learning & Self-Care
  Fun activities, helpful tips, and info to take care of you while you care for others.

• Social Time & Connection
  Meet others who “get it” and share experiences. You’re not alone!

Meals on Wheels

How the program works: we collect $95.00 up front which is non-refundable and well provide you with 10 meals of your choice. You can pick and choose as meals as you wish.
